The client, recognized for its innovative Web-based approach to service delivery, routinely looked to Teclarity to develop end-user and developer documentation and online help. With Teclarity's tested process in place, including regular submission of documentation plans and scheduled reviews, documentation was an area that the client was happy to not have to worry about.
Many young organizations learn to their dismay how large customers can impact release and deliverables schedules. Our client was no exception. Only weeks away from a major release, a customer demanded significant customization. Documentation and online Help were already close to review; could Teclarity prepare a whole new set of customized documentation for this very important client and yet meet the release deadline?
Teclarity probed deep into parallel versions of the service delivery solution to scope the customization required. This enabled optimal allocation of resources and identification of additional subject matter experts who could be called upon to provide content. The ability to quickly assess the impact of a mid-stream change of course enabled Teclarity to come through for this client by providing two parallel documentation sets while still meeting the release deadline.
